Lamakaan Amateur Radio Club — Membership Payment Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all membership subscription payments made to the Lamakaan Amateur Radio Club (LARC) through our website at larc.in.

1. General Policy

All membership fees paid to LARC are non-refundable once the membership has been activated. We encourage you to read the Terms & Conditions carefully before making a payment.

2. Eligible Refund Cases

A refund will be considered only in the following situations:

Case 1 — Duplicate Payment

If you were charged more than once for the same membership due to a technical error (e.g., double click, payment gateway timeout), the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.

Case 2 — Payment Deducted, Membership Not Activated

If your payment was successfully deducted but your membership was not activated within 48 hours, you are eligible for either a full refund or manual activation of your membership, at your preference.

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Membership fee paid and membership activated successfully.
  • Change of mind after completing payment.
  • Failure to use the membership or subscriber-only features.
  • Membership suspended due to non-renewal — the member must renew to restore access.
  • Late rejoining fees paid along with renewal.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at info@larc.in within 7 days of the transaction with the following details:

  • Your full name and registered email address
  • Transaction date and amount
  • Payment reference / transaction ID
  • Reason for the refund request

Requests submitted after 7 days of the transaction will not be entertained.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method (card, UPI, bank account) within 7–10 business days from the date of approval. The actual credit may take additional time depending on your bank or payment provider.

LARC is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions or payment gateways.

6. Failed Transactions

If your payment failed and an amount was deducted from your account, this is typically reversed automatically within 5–7 business days by your bank or payment provider. Please contact your bank if the amount is not reversed within this period.
